Today Laura Gibson shares a video for her track "Two Kids." The video was directed by Ben Fee, who's created videos for Band of Horses, the Lumineers, Sally Fields and A$AP Rocky among others. He notes, "I wanted something that's very literal, abstract and weird at the same time... Laura's music has always been emotionally complex-driven with momentum and mood into very unique places. So I felt our video should be as complex and multi-layered as her music."

"Two Kids" premiered via Ghettoblaster Magazine, and Laura told the magazine "'Two Kids' arose from a challenge I gave myself: to write a love song that was the pure 'I'll lose myself for you' kind of love song. Every song I've ever written has something to do with love, but generally it's the difficulty of love I feel compelled to explore. Writing about myself, a women, in this particular moment and culture, I found I was shying away from those love sentiments that might be taken needy or weak or co-dependent, avoiding wide-eyed naivety, and always writing from the perspective of wise observer. But that feeling, 'I would give up everything for this person' is a real thing, isn't it?" You can read the full Q&A here.

Following the release of their album You Know Who You Are earlier this year, New York-based Nada Surf are set to release a new live album entitled Peaceful Ghosts Live With Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg, which is due out Oct 28th.

Peaceful Ghosts came about after Nada Surf frontman and main songwriter Matthew Caws received a surprise email asking about a potential collaborative orchestral project with the Austrian national radio station FM4. A little over a year later, the result is a beautiful recording, culled from two live performances in Vienna and Potsdam early this summer, that covers a broad stylistic range, from James Bond at one extreme to the joy and wonder of Walt Disney at the other, with a whole range of surprises in between. Classics such as the delicate melancholy of "Blonde On Blonde" unfold to surprising new places with soaring countermelodies, while new favorites from You Know Who You Are, including "Rushing" and "Out of the Dark", showcase the power and majesty of the original without losing the lyrical and musical subtlety that has become the hallmark of Nada Surf for the past twenty years.

We're excited about Phantogram's upcoming album, Three, due for release this fall. "It's a lot more fucking boombastic and heavy," Sarah Barthel said of the album. "I think the record, to us, is about heartbreak. We've kind of had a tough year, so a lot of inspiration and drive came from our own experiences."

Today Ra Ra Riot are happy to share a Jim Eno Spotify session. The band visited Eno's Public Hi-Fi Studio when they were in Austin, TX this past March and recorded their current single "Water" as well as "Absolutely" and "Foreign Lovers." Spotify notes, "The session was a flurry of keys, harmonies and strings. We might have even given 'Water' a pretty major facelift courtesy of a Moog synth." You can listen to the Jim Eno Spotify Session here.

Ra Ra Riot are playing select festivals this summer including a stop at Outside Lands in San Francisco before hitting the road with Young The Giant on their upcoming Fall tour. The two bands kick off the dates September 6 at Cleveland's House Of Blues and conclude with a two night stand on October 27 at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. Along the way, the tour hits New York City for a show at Radio City Music Hall on September 17 and Los Angeles' Greek Theater on October 21.
