This morning, Laura Gibson debuted the first video from her new album la grande (which hit stores this week) on NPR's First Watch. Directed by Alicia J. Rose, NPR describes the video for the title track la grande as "a strong slice of classic American Gothic ... tell(ing) the dark tale of a woman (played by Gibson) who's either going mad or seeing ghosts. It feels strongly like the Coen brothers' version of True Grit elegant, well-structured, and replete in Western imagery." Check it out here.
