Jim Noir's eponymous second album is released today, and it's an absolutely brilliant record. But don't take our word for it here's what the critics are writing about this electronic pop masterpiece:
Stuffed with whimsical beauty and gorgeous layered harmonies that Brian Wilson would kill for. An extraordinary achievement. FIVE STARS - The Independent
Psychedelic electro-pop of the most inventively buoyant and sweetly retro-futurist kind. FOUR STARS - Uncut
Jim Noir’s self-titled album happily skips through the high points of Western pop with cheeky wit and striking skill. It’s a classic rock candy store. - Under The Radar

"Imagine if instead of growing up in the shadow of '50s vocal groups, the burgeoning surf-rock scene and a crazy-assed father if Brian Wilson cut his musical teeth on the bedroom pop of Sarah Records and emo's early (i.e. good) years. He'd probably produce something like Jim Noir's Tower of Love." (Aversion)
