The Barsuk Street Team Needs You!
Do you love Barsuk Records? Do you want to pad your resume with music industry experience? No really, do you love Barsuk?
Then perhaps you should consider joining the select few collectively known as the Barsuk Records Street Team! As a member of the Barsuk Street Team, your duties will include stopping by your local record stores, music venues, cafes, universities and other various hip spots in your home town to distribute posters, stickers, CDs, postcards, and whatever else our ingenious marketing team comes up with. You'll also, on occasion, check to see if your city's most popular music stores have our records in stock and that promoters have posters around town advertising upcoming Barsuk related shows. Our ingenious marketing team might also come up with some other tasks from time to time.
In return for your tireless efforts, you will receive a copy of the CD from the artist you helped to promote, a spot on the guest list when the artist comes to town and something to add to your resume. You'll also probably get some other neat treats from time to time.
You must own a digital camera to join the street team!
Street team membership lasts one year, and then your spot will be opened for someone new in your town.
Right now we're only looking for folks who will cover the following cities:
- Austin, TX
- Baltimore, MD
- Chicago, IL
- Dallas, TX
- Detroit, MI
- Los Angeles, CA
- Minneapolis, MN
- New York, NY
- Philadelphia, PA
- Raleigh/Chapel Hill/Durham/Carrboro, NC
- San Francisco, CA
- Seattle, WA
- St. Louis, MO
- St. Paul, MN
- Vancouver, BC
If you live in or can easily get to these cities/neighborhoods, are willing to work hard and can make a serious commitment to doing Barsuk Street Team duties a couple times a month, please apply by filling out the form below.
