This EP contains great new live recordings of four songs, made by the band at the close of their Spring '04 North American tour at Seattle's world-class Studio X. The session's unique arrangements put a twist on Death Cab's usual guitar/guitar/bass/drums lineup and feature guitarist/producer Chris Walla and frontman Benjamin Gibbard swapping turns on Studio X's grand piano, backed by the ever-thorough rhythm section of Nicholas Harmer (bass) and Jason McGerr (drums). This EP includes songs that originally appeared on transatlanticism (their latest), the photo album (2001), something about airplanes (1998), and their 2002 archival release you can play these songs with chords. |
