Absolute Punk and Barsuk are excited to announce that anyone who pre-orders true devotion before February 23rd will be entered automatically to win some pretty great stuff. One lucky winner will get to host a free private house show performance by Rocky for 20 of their closest friends; three runners-up will receive their copy of true devotion signed by Rocky, plus a pair of tickets to a Rocky show of their choice in 2010. In addition to prize drawing entry, anyone who pre-orders the true devotion CD will get to hear it NOW, via immediate access to a full-album digital stream, and will receive with their order a bonus 7" single (while supplies last).
The bonus 7" single includes the two non-album tracks rushing to the ending (with James Bowman of Against Me! on guitar) and connections. Both songs feature label-mate David Bazan on drums.
Rocky has partnered with a new Seattle-based organization called One Days Wages, which is dedicated to the cause of fighting global poverty — 10% of all Rocky's royalties from sales of true devotion will be donated directly to One Day's Wages.
