Apr 93: We recorded our first full-band recordings this month, which resulted in the tape dark hands.

3 Jun 93: Gibson's Bar & Grill, with Laundry. Our first show ever!

9 Jun 93: Ditto Tavern, with Green Eyed Trance.

25 Jun 93: Gibson's Bar & Grill, with Laundry and Radialarmsaw.

30 Jun 93: Ditto Tavern, with Hush Harbor and Thingmakers. Hush Harbor were really good—inspired songs and a good presence. We were a bit loose, had a few fuckups, but all in all played an inspired set. Thingmakers blew everybody's eardrums.

15 Jul 93: Lake Union Pub, with Little Stabs at Happiness and Hush Harbor.

9 Oct 93: Gibson's Bar & Grill, with Maji.

12 Oct 93: The Re-Bar, opening for Freeloader and the Girl with 100 Heads.

15 Oct 93: Gibson's Bar & Grill, with Da Da Vinci and Maji.

22 Oct 93: Gibson's Bar & Grill (again!), with Laundry and Radialarmsaw. Christopher was sick, and Josh played with a sprained finger, but despite that, it was a good show.

1 Dec 93: Lake Union Pub, opening for Junior and Sick & Wrong. The LUP is a punk club, no doubt about it—it's dirty and smelly and abrasively loud. The floor where bands play was so sticky that we were constantly having to wrench our feet from it; from the smell of the place, it may have been sticky from puke, but who knows. We played an inspired set, there were times it felt that we were all connected somehow. There were also, of course, a few moments here and there when it seemed like we were coming apart at the seams. We were fairly well-received for playing a punk club.

22 Dec 93: Lake Union Pub, with Thingmakers and Welcome. Thingmakers played first, without a guitarist. Lance did card tricks. We were loud, louder than we've ever played in a small club. The infamous floor was not so sticky at first, but it got progressively more sticky as the night wore on.

18 Feb 94: Emerald Diner, with Crumble and the Tractors. The Emerald Diner is a small, dark bar, and bands play in a corner in the back, with shitty acoustics. Not the best place to play. The ceiling's pretty darn cool, though. We were sort of loose, and Jason had a most unfortunate mishap with his guitar strap during fool for fool (aka belated)—our first public performance of that song. Crumble is a sort of reformation of Chemistry Set, Scott Sutherlands' band, and the Tractors are Joey Kline's new band.

19 Feb 94: Speedy O'Tubbs (in Bellingham), opening for Sage and the Treepeople. Our biggest show yet, and, man, was it a blast. The club is big, with a pretty good sound system (we could actually hear ourselves on stage), and there were tons of people there. We played an inspired set, with only minor mishaps. Everyone really seems to get into broken bottle (even though we rushed the bridges). The locals didn't really seem to know what to do with us, but they enjoyed it anyways.

25 Feb 94: Ditto Tavern, with Thingmakers.

1 Mar 94: Crocodile Cafe, with the Mommyheads and Lloyd's Rocket.

22 Mar 94: Colourbox, with Dragpipe and the Strollers.
