was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Our lineup currently includes three members: Christopher Possanza
is the singer, songwriter, and guitar player; Josh Rosenfeld
is the bass player and occasional singer; Barrett Wilke

With the release of our tape dark hands in April 1993, we officially became a band. We played a lot of the smaller clubs in Seattle, and tried to figure out how to be a live band. This is where it all began.
This was an eventful time for this busy monster. We went on a Northwest mini-tour with a couple of great bands (Built to Spill and the Purdins), and got a chance to broadcast live from KCMU's Live Room.
Things started picking up for us in 1994. We recorded two 7" singles, one of them with some famous friends in a famous studio, and began playing better clubs.
More good shows, including an opening spot with one of our favorite bands: Throwing Muses. We also spent a lot of time in the studio, first recording a demo tape (dubbed skips), then our debut album like icicles.
