Hibou 10th Anniversary Debut LP Reissue Pre-Sale

We're excited to announce Hibou's long-out-of-print self-titled debut album is now available for pre-sale at the Barsuk shop! This new 10th anniversary reissue is pressed on beautiful dark lilac vinyl and includes an insert of new liner notes and band photos from the era.

Written, recorded and played by Peter Michel at home in Seattle before he decamped to Paris, Hibou's 11 songs feature a lush, driving mix of '80s inspired pop, fueled by twisting reverbed-out guitar melodies, elegant arrangements, and a love of soda and summertime nostalgia.

More exciting news for Hibou fans — they're touring the US starting August 25th following the release of their upcoming album, It Seems To Me, out August 8th. Listen to new singles & pick up a copy at an Hibou show near you! 31 Jul 2025
